@Defence_Index Seeing how the Royal Navy takes forever to send a ship just about anywhere, if they committed to sending the carrier to New York for July 4th it would probably get there by Christmas. Stay home, save the money and use it to buy more ships.

Seven Ukrainian children have been returned from temporarily occupied territories, Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets said. Among them are children aged 13 to 17, including a three-year-old boy who lost his parents and was left alone in occupied Kherson region. He is now safe with his sister. Two brothers, aged 13 and 16, were also brought home after being left under the temporary care of a cousin following their parents’ deaths. They had been subjected to intimidation but are now safe. In addition, a 14-year-old boy has been reunited with his mother in Ukrainian-controlled territory — they had not seen each other for more than four years. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Ukraine has returned 2,070 children home.

When this is over, the western part of NATO will never be the same. Spain, England, France and Italy have sold us out, as they too often have a history of doing. Eastern European nations are the heart of NATO. They spend money on defense, know how to fight and love the US. France particularly deserves fault and blame. From supporting China and Russia at the UN to denying Americans overflight rights, they’re doing what they’ve always done - showing weakness, while cutting deals with terrorists. (The reason the US has a Marine Corps and Navy is unlike France, we refused to pay a ransom to the Barbary Pirates. France is always happy to cut a deal.) Wars have unintended consequences as nations show their true colors. NATO will never be the same, and Western European weakness and acquiescence is the cause.
