In particular, the decisions adopted during the Ramstein-format meeting must be implemented as soon as possible, and the PURL initiative must be replenished with additional contributions. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that 201 Ukrainian military specialists have already been deployed to Middle Eastern countries to help counter drone attacks. “Our teams are already in the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and are heading to Kuwait. We are cooperating with several other countries — agreements have already been reached,” he said.

Europe is learning to speak Trump’s language: leverage. At Chatham House, a reporter asked Finland’s President Alexander Stubb a simple question: if Trump wants Europe’s help in the Gulf, why not make it conditional on Ukraine first? Stubb answered: “It’s a really good idea. I might pick you up on that.” For too long, Trump has acted as if only he gets to set the terms. Ukraine should not be the price of someone else’s crisis. Europe can set terms too.

Ukraine has sent 201 specialists in countering Shahed drones to the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, President Zelensky said. He also noted that Ukraine is prepared to offer drone-related partnerships to “all reliable partners,” adding that it would be “unwise” for any country to overlook Ukraine’s battlefield-tested capabilities in its security planning. Before Zelensky’s address, UK House Speaker Lindsay Hoyle concluded his remarks with “Slava Ukraini,” prompting strong applause, and reaffirmed that the United Kingdom is committed to increasing economic pressure on Russia.
