Just a couple of days ago we were alerted that the Iranian embassy had sent a request for “martyrs”. The government didn’t act, they summoned the ambassador. Today Iranian islamist terrorist group Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamia (HAYI), has claimed responsibility for the stabbing attack in North London. Still this Labour government has NOT proscribed the IRGC as a terrorist organisation.

Labour are legislating to prosecute soldiers who served in Northern Ireland. As a lawyer Lord Hermer went after British troops in Iraq over baseless claims. Starmer worked with Hermer and the disgraced Phil Shiner. This is who our PM is. thetimes.com/uk/politics/ar…

🔴 Lord Hermer pursued a notorious “witch hunt” against British troops despite being warned that the allegations were lies, The Telegraph can disclose. An investigation by this newspaper can reveal the Attorney General’s leading role in the Al-Sweady scandal, which left decorated war heroes facing false accusations of murder and torture for more than a decade. @boxingscene Worst referee of all time, stopped this finishing sequence for ZERO reason. Took away 1 point from Wilder for "pushing", let the cornerman lift Chisora up 😂😭 Absolute joke

The British Boxing Board of Control will review referee Mark Bates' performance in Derek Chisora vs Deontay Wilder at Wednesday's Board Meeting. 🗣️“We’re certainly going to look carefully at it. In situations like this there will always be a review. Once it’s reviewed, a decision is then made if further action is required. “It was a rough-and-ready fight, and it was a very difficult fight to referee. It will all be reviewed.” - General Secretary, Robert Smith.

The officer who brought mum home after her wrongful arrest and 11 hours in custody dumped her on the curb was trying to do one. .. I collared him and said "oi I want a word". I insisted he opened a safeguarding log and said directly to him "this will kill my mum". This was how he chose to record it. I requested his BWV and apparently he "honesty thought it was recording". But it wasn't - His recollection 14 months after the event was satisfactory for the PSD to not uphold my complaint. This is the ONLY contemporaneous record that I have been given by @Cumbriapolice - where's the rest of what I requested? something to hide??? Please sign and share my petition 🙏🙏 petition.parliament.uk/petitions/7612…

So you price young people out of the labour market with huge rises in the minimum wage and national insurance. Then you subsidise employers to employ young people. Government is brilliant. Simply brilliant.
The Telegraph@Telegraph

🔴 The Telegraph understands that Pat McFadden will announce on Monday that employers will receive a £3,000 taxpayer subsidy for hiring under-25s who have been on Universal Credit for more than six months Find out more ⬇️ telegraph.co.uk/business/2026/…

Another act of constitutional vandalism by Labour Baroness Hooper once told me that when she was a Gov't Whip, she would think nothing about applying a three-line whip to the life peers But she would never dream of applying a three-line whip to the hereditary peers. Why? Because they had a nobler attitude to politics. Representing - and embodying - centuries of heritage, the hereditary peers prioritized the long-term interests of the nation over the short term interests and machinations of party politics. If that meant defying the Whip, so be it. They are now gone. And we are left with an upper chamber filled with cronies, vast numbers of substandard quality who dishonour the once noble house.
Cabinet Office@cabinetofficeuk

Your inheritance shouldn’t determine if you sit in Parliament. The Hereditary Peers Bill, which was passed yesterday, will finally end the centuries-old hereditary principle in Parliament. Hereditary peers will no longer have the right to sit and vote in the House of Lords.

800 years traded for a three‑line whip. MPs have just voted 304–203 to slash our right to trial by jury for thousands of cases carrying sentences of up to three years. More than 3,200 lawyers – including 22 retired judges and hundreds of senior barristers – begged the government to stop this “erosion of a deeply entrenched constitutional principle for negligible gain”. Labour backbenchers called the plans “unprincipled, counter‑productive and shameful constitutional vandalism”… then many of them abstained when it actually came to the vote. Eight hundred years of being judged by your peers, traded away for a three‑line whip and a cheap headline about “efficiency”. If this is what they do with a majority, imagine what they’ll do when you’re the one in the dock.

Her name is Nadia Murad, a Yazidi woman and co-recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize alongside Congolese gynecologist Denis Mukwege. At just 19, she was kidnapped by ISIS. For three months, she was tortured and repeatedly raped. Her mother and six brothers were executed. Her community was massacred. She was scheduled to present her book in Canada to share her story, but the event was canceled because it was deemed that it “could promote Islamophobia.” Shameful.

🚨📣 Free Speech Victory! Jazz lecturer and internationally renowned saxophonist cancelled for criticising BLM was ‘not racist’, employer says. Martin Speake’s life was ‘destroyed’ after students boycotted his lessons when he dared to question critical race theory and claim there was no “systemic” racial inequality in British jazz. In a response to an email requesting feedback on a diversity action plan in February 2024, Martin — who had taught at Trinity Laban for 24 years — called BLM “very dangerous” and said black musicians were “definitely not under-represented” in British jazz. He also included Martin Luther King’s famous call to “judge people according to the content of their character, not the colour of their skin”. Students began boycotting his lessons and ignoring him in the corridor. After taking an extended period of sick leave, he returned to work — yet the boycott continued. He was left with no option but to resign in November 2024. With the support of the Free Speech Union, Martin was due to bring a claim against the conservatoire at an employment tribunal for constructive dismissal, discrimination and harassment. We are delighted to confirm that both parties have now reached a settlement, with Trinity Laban admitting that Mr Speake was not racist. In a statement, Trinity Laban said: “Trinity Laban acknowledges the hurt felt by Mr Speake, and that he has reported significant damage to his personal and professional life, and wishes him well for the future. Trinity Laban condemns public attempts to unfairly vilify him.” It also went on to say that “It acknowledges that discrimination against staff and students because they hold or appropriately manifest protected philosophical beliefs is unlawful.” This is a complete vindication for the saxophonist, who has called the whole experience “devastating”. General Secretary of the Free Speech Union, Lord Young of Acton, said: “It shouldn’t need saying, but quoting Martin Luther King’s famous dictum about judging people by the content of their character rather than the colour of their skin does not make you a racist. “The fact that such a dedicated scholar, who’s devoted his life to studying, teaching and performing jazz, was cancelled for espousing a core tenet of the American civil rights movement shows just how far critical race theory has embedded itself in British universities. This is anti-racism gone mad.” Read more below 👇

HR: What is your notice period? Candidate: 60 days. HR: Is it negotiable? Candidate: No. HR: Sorry, we’re looking for someone who can join within 30 days. Candidate: May I ask a question? HR: Sure. Candidate: What’s the notice period in your company? HR: 90 days. Candidate: If someone resigns and requests to leave within 30 days, would you allow it? HR: No, we require time to find a replacement and ensure proper knowledge transfer. Candidate: Then why is it fair to expect new hires to join early when existing employees can’t leave early?
