📈Vuc 2+ Threes @ +215 In the opener, Vuc came off the bench for about 17 mins and went 1-2 from three. He hit a nice C&S triple off a pass from White in the third qtr, It was one of those open looks where he had time to set his feet, and it came right over Drummond. His other attempt was a pretty standard miss, but both shots were the kind of quality chances you get with how Celtics move the ball well and space the floor. In game 1, Nick Nurse leaned on aggressive hedges and help instead of just dropping back like they might with Embiid in there. Guys like Drummond and Bona aren’t great at sitting deep and protecting the rim, so Nurse had them pressuring the ball higher up. That created all sorts of openings on the weak side and in transition, and Boston lit them up for 16 threes as a team. Even though there will be adjustments, Drummond will again be pulled out of position or on closeouts, which will leave stretch bigs like Vuc with room to shoot. We really just need the usual Vuc volume which has been a bit absent since he is transitioning to this elite Boston team. Trusting the value on this, again.
