Might be most misguided suggestion in all of golf. Using your 7-iron distance to determine tee selection. I hit my 7 about 180. Chart says I should be playing the Championship 7,000+ yards, which would equate to miserable day for me. Just stop. Do better Ranch GC, Southwick, MA…

@bowtiedmeathead Had a guy like this. Just a bipolar bully with 0 leadership quality. Place ran its best when he was on vacation. They fired him eventually. New guy was awesome. Ran into the old guy at a golf course.. Played him 10 bucks a hole out of anger. Took 120 off him. Hes still a dick.

2 young guys on my team who are in their early 20’s just gave their 2 weeks. Basically told the boss to go fuck himself. They have been around for a while, knew the space very well and have talent and skills which made them great assets to the business and hard to replace. In our weekly board meetings the boss for some reason, loved to pick on these two though. Constantly yelling at them, criticizing and embarrassing them in front of others. Never seen anything like it in the work place. It was very unprofessional and some of the things that he said would have been fighting words to most people. These kids had enough of it and just walked away giving their 2 week notice. Although I heard the boss (owner) was very mad once he found out and told them to pack their stuff up right away and don’t show their faces ever again. First time working for someone who is so unpredictable and impulsive. One day he is your best friend, the next day he is screaming at people and blaming everyone else for his lack of leadership. I’m sure everyone has worked for a guy like this and either left or quit. Love to hear some good stories in the comments below. Did you just walk away or anyone really get into with him or her before moving on?

OPINION: Babe Ruth would be a bust in the modern era. He never played against the best African American or overseas players. He dominated an era where pitchers were mediocre, fatigued and had primitive training. He was unhealthy and unfit, and ultimately a defensive liability.

My very, very well-placed Masters source who is deep within the grounds of Augusta National explains what happens if you're caught with a cellphone at the tournament: "If you get caught with a cell phone, almost universally your tickets will be taken and the holder won't get them next year. "The person with them is not banned per se, but their tickets are lost. "That's why it is so risky to give someone a ticket ,  if they screw up, it's the ticket holder who pays the price. "Meta glasses are an emerging issue, and we've also found Oakley versions.  The private company that staffs the entrance gates to enforce club policy goes over that in their training. "Same with watches with phone capabilities.   I'm sure people get on with those all the time, they get caught when it rings or you see someone talking in to their wrist. On this day in 1865, Robert E. Lee surrendered to Ulysses S. Grant. Lee showed up dressed in his best, looking like a dignified gentleman. Grant was covered in mud after riding all morning. Before anything was signed, the two men spoke about their shared service in the Mexican War -- a reminder that Confederates and Union soldiers were nonetheless countrymen tied by mystic chords of memory. Grant did not create terms of surrender to humiliate the South. Grant and Lincoln understood that to unify the nation, you could not imprison half of it. Confederates were allowed to keep their sidearms and personal horses. When Grant learned that Lee's men were quite literally starving after having not eaten for days, he ordered 25,000 rations sent to them immediately. Lee said this would have "a very happy effect" on his men. When Lee rode away after signing terms of surrender, Union soldiers cheered. Grant forced them to stop, reminding Union soldiers that Confederates were "now our countrymen" and there would be no cheering over their downfall. (In fact, days later when actual ceremonial surrender occurred, Union Gen. Josh Chamberlain reportedly ordered his men to salute passing Confederates as a sign of respect) Lee also worked diligently to stop Confederates from waging guerrilla warfare, encouraging them to set their arms aside and return home and in peace. He was a titan in his own right. If the spirit of 1865 had been driven by the urge to shame and punish, the Union would not have lasted. So many people today misunderstand that and as such, they try to rewrite America history. God Bless America.
