@deevybee @leonardojo In this chain the problem is powerpoint, any decent vector graphic app (e.g. inkscape) will open and edit a graph saved as .svg but also saved as .pdf

@leonardojo Hmm. Not working for me. I've saved as .svg and then inserted using Insert picture from file. I'm using Powerpoint for Mac. When I tell it to ungroup it says "This is an imported picture, not a group". Hope I can be rescued as this sounds v useful!

It took me SEVEN years to figure out that you can save a ggplot as a vectorized .svg file ggsave("file.svg"). The svg file can be opened on powerpoint and it will be completely vectorized, even text are still recognized as text boxes! No more recreating plots on illustrator!!!!!
