There are so many people, my parents included, who are discussing leaving Canada. People I'd have never expected to want to leave. Others are only staying because they have family or other obligations keeping them here against their wishes for a better quality of life.

David Eby lost the confidence of British Columbians long ago. As he tanks in the polls, the confidence of his caucus will also shrink.

Facts:
Crime rates have gone down in BC over the past 5 years. And, the government has worked hard to secure needed bail reforms with the federal government to combat repeat violent offenders.
No one is going to lose their house to indigenous people, contrary to the rhetoric. DRIPA has nothing to do with private property cases including Cowichan. Those decisions are based on section 35 of the Constitution Act and Supreme Court of Canada cases. A KC lawyer must know this.
Increased longterm debt is required to finance the building of essential infrastructure including hospitals, schools, roads, energy infrastructure and housing. For 16 years, the previous government failed to invest in the needed infrastructure, leaving this government with a huge infrastructure deficit to resolve.
Kerry-Lynne Findlay, fear mongering, misinformation and negative rhetoric will not make BC a better place for its citizens.
Driving the economy with key investments, improving the services that people need and making life more affordable are what is important.
It’s easy to be a critic, it’s much harder to roll up your sleeves and do the hard work.

I mean the conservatives are currently unelectable. They have brought into the legislature more alleged wife beaters and sexual assault perpetrators and credible if not proven allegations of cheating, they’re obstructionist, cannot/will not vet their staff and are dangerously teetering to people whose interests are not in this province or good for our country. I campaigned to take down David Eby but I find myself unable to safely advocate for this opposition bench to have any power. They’re dangerously incompetent and totally under aware with the exception of very few. It’s distressing. I’d never worry that one of the NDP MLAs or their staff was committing violent crimes or seriously perpetuating a fraud. I’d ask any of them to walk me home or have confidential information on me or my constituents anytime before I trusted the opposition bench.
