i'm just a mom, sitting in her car outside of Trader Joe's, thinking about how I just need three things. and i do not want to take two children out of car seats and put them in a cart.

@waitbutwhy My Dad would follow me around in a car as I went to houses. Occasionally he would instruct me to empty out my bag so that it appeared as if I was a hobo kiddo who had terrible candy luck. It worked. Like a charm. We'd then go home and literally weigh the candy on a scale 😂

I remember trick or treating in my childhood being this epic 7-hour thing but now I’m realizing that it’s like 40 minutes and 15 houses.
