@GeorgeStoia I don’t know if this stat is tracked but it feels worse than middle of pack on a game by game basis. We will play the 14th most penalized team but somehow end the game with them getting 5 penalties for 25 yards vs OU gets 10 for 100.

I know there is a narrative out there that Brent Venables' teams have way too many penalties, but the stats don't back that up.
The #Sooners were the least penalized team in the SEC in 2024. This year, in all games, they are tied 9th in the league (not good, but not terrible).
