Lets make the regular season the most important thing ever. Hear me out. Instead of 12 weeks of regular season games we just go into playoff mode from game one all losers are eliminated. Then at the end we are guaranteed 2 undefeated teams playing for all the marbles. A loss is devastating in this format and every game is the most important game you will play until next week.

You are only coming at this from the super-privileged perspective of rooting for the bluest of bluebloods. It's your right to view it through that lens, but you have to realize that not everybody else views it through that lens.
Not everybody is a Georgia fan. In fact, most of college ball fans are not a fan of the top three program in the country.
When you over-index on just those teams, you alienate everybody else. That's how the sport dies.
