@Mattel purchased this toy back in November as we got a great deal. Kept it in the box for the last few months so I could give it to my som for his birthday. Opened the toy this past week and the toy just doesn’t work. Tried multiple sets of batteries in the car. Store is no help

Thanks to all who have inquired, because I sincerely appreciate the interest, but I will not have complete NHL playoff pool stats this year for the first time in a long time. Circumstances beyond my control.

A11 Always keep your sights on delighting your users/customers/clients. They are the lifeblood of any business, your best salespeople and fiercest advocates.Your relationship with them is too valuable to disregard their needs or break promises. #StartupChats #WednesdayWisdom

A10 WIGS and OKRs - they are vital in a scaling business. They align everyone to a north star. Goals need to be challenging, yet a clear path to attaining if implemented correctly. Don't under-set goals. It is exactly how you miss to achieve your real goals. #StartupChats

A9 Automation is the secret sauce for successful scale ups. Saves time and allows you to better utilize human capital (=fulfilled team members!). Needls allows biz owners to automate their social media advertising, so they can get back to doing what they do best ;) #StartupChats

A8 HR needs to create proper structure, led by A+ players. Knowing the right people for the right job at the right phase is imperative. All the way up to the CEO. As well as the proper training, on-boarding and culture building. #StartupChats

A7 Depending on how you set your company up, the most traditional is Series B-Z rounds with well fitting venture partners. There's been a big move to other forms of debt financing based on MRR/ARR, if profitable prior to scale this would be a great route to consider #StartupChats

A6 Onboarding new team members - the perfect time for me to reiterate the importance of simple and effective systems/procedures! Do not rely on “Tribal Knowledge” - your team should be documenting their workflows for the benefit of new hires. #StartupChats

A5 Listen to your team, customers and mentors. Keep your processes as simple as possible - when things get needlessly complex, your growth will be stunted. Most importantly, treat your time like the precious resource it is. #StartupChats

A4 Pivot points have a way of making themselves known internally and externally - excess turnover of staff, team lethargy, market changes, etc. LEARN TO READ THE DATA. When done effectively, pivoting should help your business stay relevant and competitive. #StartupChats

A3 Some popular models are to take a traditionally offline business and bring it online (eCommerce, banking, auctions etc) to reach a wider audience. Explore outsourcing for non-core business functions. At needls, we benefited by leveraging FB’s enormous network. #StartupChats

A2.2 When designing your startup, focus on crafting rock-solid procedures and practices. If you neglect this and begin to scale, the cracks will quickly show. #StartupChats

A2 The ability to grow in size, exponentially. To grow with a process and no longer have to do things on a one off basis. Ask yourself, if we got 10k new customers tomorrow could we handle it? If you have an answer & process in place to do so, you have planned well #StartupChats

A1 Scale up is an important stage for a biz - it means your product has been validated and established a healthy margin. It is essential to achieve venture series B and C rounds and is what makes you a household name. #StartupChats
