1st Frame garnered low engagements until the headline was edited 33 minutes later and “Christmas Eve” inserted. The victims of this blast — all Muslims — were not praying in the Maiduguri mosque in preparation for Christmas when bomb ripped through the mosque. But Channels TV displayed high level of journalistic irresponsibility by deliberately slanting the headline to further amplify the dangerous propaganda of “Christian genocide” being pushed by now disgraced lunatics. While many are wont to accuse some politically exposed people for fanning the embers of religious polarisation, the Media is no less culpable, as it serves as the amplifying medium for dangerous narratives dividing the country.

I mistakenly sent N120,000 to one Yahaya Abdullahi instead of my cousin Yahaya Mahmoud all with GTB accounts. This was on a Friday so I couldn't reach my bank till Monday. The said Yahaya Abdullahi had already withdrawn N119,000 at the 1st instance and there wasn't any more money left in the account. The bank said they will contact him and then place a restriction on his account so that whenever funds go in a hold will be placed on them. But that may just be a merry go round as the account has no history of funds coming in. The next thing is to get the courts and the police to track him down like a common thief. I'm thinking its not money enough to start all that and I'm also thinking to teach him a lesson and have him tracked down as the bank has a lot of details about him. I'm also thinking I'll leave him to Allah and I am sure he will be dealt with by Allah's will. Very funny guy I must say. What was he thinking? He cannot be traced?

Nigeria is far too vast and diverse. No matter how well-travelled you think you are, you simply cannot generalise the whole country from the few places you know. Scenes from this funeral may look "unbelievable" if your Nigeria is Lagos, Abuja, South or even parts of Middle Belt. So we just have to learn to speak with specificity, when we talk about Nigeria, not sweeping generalisation, especially outsider analysts. May the soul of the departed rest in peace.

South Africans are defending their President, it's not like they all like or support him, but it's a collective push back for the respect of the office and their COUNTRY. My fellow Nigerians can never, instead they will exalt a foreigner over their own. Which Country doesn't have internal crisis?!

@MrParadise_P @asemota They've done worse. Churches, mosques, schools, town halls, office buildings, homes, supermarkets, parks, etc. THAT is the straight record

@mohammedisma @asemota There's nothing happening now that hasn't be done prior. They've set catholic churches in flames. Those even housed more sacred things like tabernacle, and even Maria grotos. Just making the records straight.

The whole world would HATE to see how a destabilised Nigeria will spread Nigerians into every corner of the world en masse. Europe must brace too. Especially "mummy" Britain

Ajaero and his union can shut down the National Grid at will, and another union can shut down the crude oil and gas export valve. They can shut down these critical assets over their private matters. If a private power firm sacks workers tomorrow, Ajaero will ask his union to shut down the grid. These unions don't have up to 100k members combined. No union in Nigeria should have this power. It's time to bring an end to the nonsense.

The fact that PENGASSAN can (or at least try) to instruct it's members (working in private, independent companies) to shut down supply to another private independent company is proving the point that unions want to control that which is not theirs.

Abuja is worse than Lagos when it comes to flood oh. One time like this in late May or early June, part of Aso Rock was flooded and under water. Even that president’s bulletproof Escalade had to be taken to Apo mechanic for Uche to fix. The other day, the whole of Wuse 2 was flooded. Anyways, just in case you’re thinking about relocating here… it’s worse here oh.

On behalf of @BagajaRen, the Project Developer of the 500kWp Kafin Hausa Solar Mini-Grid, I am deeply honored to celebrate this milestone delivered in partnership with Jigawa State, Future Energies Africa (FEA), and @KEDCOplc. This project goes beyond electricity—it is about empowering households, supporting SMEs, and laying the foundation for Jigawa’s industrial growth. As Project Developer, Bagaja is committed to ensuring the sustainability of this plant and to working with our partners to scale the vision toward the 10MW pipeline of mini-grids across Jigawa State. I am also pleased to confirm that clearance of the Hadejia project site will commence immediately, marking the start of the next phase in this rollout. Together, we are proving that renewable energy is not just the future—it is the present.
Umar Namadi@uanamadi

Earlier today, I commissioned the Kafin Hausa Solar Mini-Grid Project. Jigawa State in partnership with Future Energies Africa (FEA) the core investor in Kano Electricity Distribution Company (@kedcoplc) and Bagaja Renewables Limited, constructed this 500KWp solar-hybrid power plant and this is the first step toward the 10MW of mini-grids we’re rolling out across Jigawa State. With this project, more homes and businesses will finally get reliable, clean power. It’s a big leap toward our dream of turning Jigawa into a thriving industrial hub where every community has a fair shot at growth. This achievement belongs to all of us. We all have a duty and responsibility to see their protection and sustainability. Let’s keep working together to light up Jigawa and open new doors of opportunity for everyone. #GreaterJigawa #RenewableEnergy #NamadiDelivers #JigawaEnergy #JigawaState
