My owner came home, as if nothing had happened. As if she hadn’t left me alone for what felt like an eternity. Then she took out the treat. Suddenly my anger faded, the drama diminished, the love returned. I considered the situation and decided to forgive her. But only this once.

That’s the look when I know I’ve done something forbidden but I don’t want to admit it. I respond to the question “Was it you?” with an innocent eye contact. I just sit here with the "it wasn't me" look on my face and I'm more beautiful than ever. Would you blame me for anything?

The sun was finally shining. The chirping birds caught my curiosity as I looked out the window. I just watched them with interest.🐦🐈‍⬛ (At least, my physical limitations prevented me from doing anything else to them).🪟

Early morning I asked for my breakfast, which every cat has an innate right to. This right does not depend on the owner’s state of wakefulness. Breakfast is not a reward but a basic right. Exercising this right allows for multiple repetitions if the cat feels it is justified.🐈‍⬛
