@LRGiles Feeling this. Hard to accept that I’m now the mom who will be happy to learn level 1, but feeling even more attacked that my kid’s 6 has the update but my 8 doesn’t. Harsh.

@t_magnan @ilana_horn @__itsniaj You can have an announcement or link on your homepage with an explanation that the link will go “live” at a certain time. Canvas Conferences are great, but with the limit, a backup google meet is a safe bet, just in case you run into a problem. Check with your ID for ideas.

@t_magnan @ilana_horn @__itsniaj Tracy, you can set up your Google Meet as an assignment in Canvas and keep students from entering the Meet without you by only publishing the assignment when you’re ready to begin. LMK if you need the directions. Love and miss you, girl!

As a widow raising my 10 year-old alone, hiring someone to watch my little one on the days she’s home while I’m at school is not something I can afford, but going without my income for even a couple of months is just not an option for me. 😞
