LMAO was just going to tweet this bc it’s exactly what happened to me. The first book I read, Tobias was already a hawk and I was so horrified. Maybe read less than 10 books across the years but I loved how dark and thought provoking they were.

I actually should read Animorphs in full. I loved the books as a kid but it was very much a 'whatever the library has on hand' thing, I wasn't reading in order and even though I kinda know how it ends, I never read it myself

This is the first time in my life I’ve been against and am confused by a gender swap. There’s really no reason for this. And Tech Jacket rly isn’t similar to mark except a bit visually. Very weird decision.

HIMYM is a show I’ve specifically never watched bc I heard of it right when the finale came out. My brother binges it once in a while so I watch a few eps and it’s genuinely funny, but I can’t imagine subjecting myself through that disappointment.

Going off topic, but it's crazy how badly HIMYM flopped the landing. This show was a cultural phenomenon and then it just disappeared. Never hear anyone talking about it or watching re-runs. The ending re-contextualized what the whole series was about and made it less fun.
