HOW I GOT DRAINED ON POLYMARKET I was top 1% smartness on @Polymarket Yesterday I signed one transaction on a fake @edgeX_exchange claim site and lost everything. $2,387 gone in 60 seconds. Here is what happened. I saw a link. "Last day to claim $EDGE airdrop." The site looked legit. Real token launched March 31, perfect timing. I connected my @Rabby_io wallet and clicked "Claim." The moment I connected, the site scanned my wallet, found my @Polymarket Safe, calculated the exact amounts of USDC and all 9 open positions, and generated a drain transaction disguised as a claim signature. It looked like a normal interaction. No red flags. No balance change preview. I signed. That was not a login. That was a SafeTx signature. One off-chain signature gave the attacker full control to execute a batched transaction on my Polymarket Safe. Within 1 hour: 12:48 UTC — drained all my USDC ($1,206) and 9 open positions 13:49 — sold all my positions on Polymarket for $1,180 13:52 — bridged everything out The site then tried to push more signatures. I noticed something weird on the second one and closed everything. That saved my other wallets. But the first signature was already enough. One thing that saved me from going crazy: Rabby Signature Records. I could not remember if I signed one or two malicious requests. Settings → Signature Record shows every signature you ever made. Check it if you ever interact with a suspicious site. Everyone posts wins. Here is my loss. Never lose your guard. Not even for one click.

Speed is the #1 most important thing to optimize in Polymarket Bots The CLOB api places the order. Its a first in first out game. It takes roughly 4ms for it to process but it processes them in series. So what matters is the time that your bot sees the trade, to when you trade it has to be as low as possible. EVERYTHING matters with speed. Your order placement, toxic fills, getting the price you want, hedging without losing in a falling market, siping, price parity, seeing movements on every tick. Short of a "buy before window opens, and hold" strategy. Every bot gets better with faster speed. So the first thing you should do, is make your bot as fast as you can. The limits of physics, ie the speed of light, is 6.31ms from amazons web servers in ireland to the CLOB that places the order. Guess how fast my bots go...

I deposited $20 on Polymarket and started trading 5-minute Up/Down markets I got tired of all those articles about quants, fake formulas and other slop. My strategy was simple: I only bought Yes or No if the outcome was priced <35¢. Always buying the heavy underdog 3-4 minutes before the end and never waiting for the final market resolution. You can lose twice in a row, sell third at 90¢ and still walk away up. I opened 9 positions, won 4, lost 5, still green pnl. Hit $33 at the peak, began taking on excessive risks and immediately paid the consequences. 45 minutes of trading, walked away up 11% on my entire deposit. Could’ve locked in 58% profit at the peak though. Strategy’s got potential. Gonna keep sharpening it. My advice: try, experiment, put in the effort and never take on more risk that you can’t afford to lose.
