@saba_4real And Obi is competent?
Your poor sense of judgement shows you are very incompetent.
English

@BashirAhmaad Well that's his problem not yours. And by judging by his last outing, that plan wasn't bad at all.

Reports and indications suggest that Peter Obi and his blind supporters are reconsidering another political move away from their current platform, the ADC. The question here is whether Peter is leaving to escape standing against other aspirants within his party. It is the same path he once embraced in 2022 leading to 2023 presidential election.
If a political figures appear so afraid to test their popularity within their own party structure, it naturally leads to questions about how they intend to build the broad national consensus required to lead a country as diverse and complex as Nigeria.
Party primaries are a fundamental pillar of democracy, if Peter struggles to compete fairly among fellow aspirants within his party, it becomes difficult to convincingly argue that he can unify and lead an entire nation with diverse interests and strong political contenders.

@CI7_Aiima @RealQueenBee__ If Atiku and the north are not willing to work for a Southern candidate to complete the remaining 4 yrs of the south's rotational presidency turn, then there's no trust or equity in the coalition.
English

@RealQueenBee__ Even the direct primary, I don't trust it anymore, it should be consensus or NDC here we come. Nigeria is bleeding so much and this is rescue mission not time for politicking. Now is the time for this rescue and it will just be OK for us to build a New Nigeria. Selah.
English

HAPPENING: A high powered leadership delegation of the ADC are having an urgent last minute emergency meeting to persuade Peter Obi and Kwankwaso to stop their planned defection to the NDC.
They assured Mr. Obi that there will be transparent party direct primaries which will be televised and supervised by independent body.
THE DANGER: The danger is if Obi participates in ADC primaries, he'll no longer be able to participate in another primaries in another political party.
What's your take on it?
English

@KhingPharaoh @RealQueenBee__ Key words....fair contest. But who and how can you guarantee it?
English

@RealQueenBee__ Go for it!!!
In a fair contest Atiku will never beat Obi, Kwankwaso, El Rufai, Malami and other Northern heavyweights wants the south to complete its 8 years.
If Obi can hold together his 5 SE delegates and SS, he can easily win the primaries. But I doubt if Atiku wants that.
English

@rojemeh @TheoAbuAgada ..besides Ist time senators are usually not materials for Senate president.
English

@TheoAbuAgada Tinubu favours loyalty. Hope is like his right hand man in the SE and at large. Okowa just joined from the PDP. He doesn't have any past links with Tinubu like Akpabio and Wike. Tinubu will rather choose Hope over Okowa for loyalty's sake.
English

@TheoAbuAgada So you think SP will go to SS for two consecutive sessions??
English

My supporters don’t engage in f!ghts on social media. The f!ght is between Atiku and Peter Obi’s people. Obi’s people are abus!ng me but I don’t reply them. The Obidients insist on ‘Obi or nothing,’ while Atiku’s supporters say ‘Atiku or nothing.’ But the question is, do they have the numbers?

@SULEIMANNWAOBA1 @CrownprinceCom2 @BOGbadams Please first verify that that was actually his statement.
English

@CrownprinceCom2 @BOGbadams We expect much more from mr Duke than resorting to criticism of fellow man. What stops him from gunning for the presidency as consistently as Atiku?
English

A must read: After working for the opposition party to destroy PDP twice in one life....in 2015 and in 2019 before he was finally bullied and chased out of PDP by Nyesome Wike....
In 2026, Atiku's destructive greed for power has finally destroyed the only opposition in Nigeria, the ADC political party again.
As a result of that, the ADC have been reduced to a regional northern political party like CPC and APGA.
Today I present an award to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar
His Excellency "kona" the destroyer of the Nigeria opposition's political parties since the year 2015 A.D
- Donald Duke Says ....

English

@armyodourz @CrownprinceCom2 He was and still is already relevant in Nigeria. The best governor of the 1999 set. The best president Nigeria never had. You should Google his accomplishments as the governor of Cross River States in 1999 to 2007 cycle
English

@CrownprinceCom2 Mr Donald Duke no matter the comment you make about the former VP Atiku you will never be relevant politically in Nigeria
English

@ezeani_malik1 @Pharmacio001 Or Atiku could do a co presidency with Obi, where Atiku will be ceremonial president, but Obi a "vice president" will have the constitutional authority to run the country with his policies and his appointments...
English

How I wish Peter Obi had a mindset like that of the North.
Kwankwaso, a northerner, accepted to be his VP, but Obi said no to Atiku, who is also from the North.
Kwankwaso surpasses Obi in many ways, yet he accepted the VP ticket. Obi, who is below Atiku, said no.
Why can’t Obi reciprocate the same love and respect that Kwankwaso is showing him to Atiku?
English

@Pharmacio001 Kwankwaso knows what he gains by deputizing PO and PO knows what his losing by deputizing Atiku. And if you're smart you will understand.
English

@callmembj11 @U_Rochas ..a good northern candidate with good southern support will win the 2027 presidency. Peter Obi and his team should try and negotiate for a good administrative arrangement with Atiku's people for a good political partnership
English

Atiku has been hopping parties and chasing power since the 90s, from PDP to AC to PDP again, always positioning himself as next in line. Now you're lecturing Obi about using supporters as chips? The irony is thick.
Obidients aren't property to be traded. They back a vision for competence and accountability that your guy has never delivered. If the NDC or any platform advances that, people will move. Focus on why Atiku keeps failing to inspire the same energy instead of crying about other people's choices.
English

Because of his political ambition, he keeps moving young, innocent Nigerians from one party to another.
Why not build your own party? No.
Why not stay and develop one? No.
Instead, he uses his supporters as political bargaining chips, without considering their future.
Now he wants to take them to the NDC to start all over again.
The Obidient movement is a political commodity in the hands of Peter Obi.
English

@callmembj11 @U_Rochas Atiku may not be the ideal candidate, but at this present time in Nigerian political history, he is the most likely person to send Tinubu packing. And yes, it's because he is from the north, and is backed by most northern politicians.
English

@Obidient_Police @U_Rochas Yes, it's the turn of the south to complete their 8 yr term, but it's more important to remove the demonic APC from power. And the only way to do that at the moment is to use a strong northern candidate whom the northerners will be willing to die or go to war to defend his votes.
English

I am genuinely ashamed of some grown men of stomach infrastructure from the South-East. Absolutely no shame whatsoever.
The same man who is your only pathway to the presidency is blocking you for the second time and all you can do is grovel. Your bloated, Atiku-funded bill is what history will remember you for. Not governance. Not ideology. A bill.
When is it the South’s turn, exactly? 2023 was the North’s turn. 2027 is apparently the North’s turn again. And you want a man of Peter Obi’s integrity and conviction to remain trapped in your transactional, rotational circus? You have no credibility; zero to even speak Peter Obi’s name.
Your Paul Biya dismantled the PDP brick by brick because of his raw, insatiable ambition, then turned around and blamed Wike for the rubble. Everyone warned you. Every single person with eyes saw it coming. You ignored it. Now you are blackmailing Obi, desperate to make him the fall guy for the ADC fiasco you all walked into with your eyes wide open.
Let that sink in , Atiku just abandoned the PDP he destroyed, fled to the ADC, and your Paul Biya of Nigerian politics may be packing his bags again before the ink is dry. Yet somehow, Peter Obi is your problem?
Collect yourselves. The embarrassment is loud.
English

@Obidient_Police @U_Rochas Have you considered the idea that BAT and his party APC will do anything to stay in power, and that anything that can effectively block his path is the angry northerners who will be willing to do anything including dying to defend their votes?
English

@gentlecheta @IkeGod_ .. a northern candidate is more suited to confront Tinubu and APC tricks and lawlessness. Tinubu and his people will run roughshod over any southern candidates.
English

2027: Goodluck Peter Obi!
Last week, a group of South East stakeholders boarded a luxurious bus from Onitsha, Anambra State, to the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
Before they got to Abuja, the bus broke down. The driver of the bus categorically told them all to alight that his bus would no longer be going to Abuja.
The South East stakeholders all took his words for it, alighted and boarded another bus, which will help them continue and complete their highly imperative journey to Abuja.
Ladies and gentlemen, H.E. Peter Obi is the driver of that luxurious bus. He has, by his sneaky games over the last few weeks, categorically told millions of Ndigbo at home and in the Diaspora that he is no longer going to Abuja through the ADC Coalition bus.
Since Obi is no longer interested in taking Ndigbo to Abuja come 2027 via the most formidable, viable, feasible, equitable, and unbeatable ADC Coalition bus, eminent Igbo sons and daughters at home and in the Diaspora have started shopping for his replacement as soon as possible.
PO is not the only Igbo leader in the ADC. If he has blatantly refused to pay heed to our wise counsels, but have decided to listen to political leviathans and neophytes online and offline, who want him to fail in 2027, we wish him the very best of luck in his political sojourn.
The train has now left the station...

English

@gentlecheta @IkeGod_ It's not about egos... it's about winning and standing up to Tinubu and his armies and bags of tricks..a northern candidate will be more suited to challenge him. The goal is to win first. Peter Obi and his supporters are in a good position to demand a fair arrangement.
English

@DavidEboh5 @IkeGod_ ..the goal is to win first. And the writer's arguments are quite sensible and logical. His opinions need to be considered.
English

Did you proudly display yourself in your graduation gown to spew this nonsense? Are you sure you have a reservoir of common sense and self-respect?
1st, Peter Obi is is out wearing the face national identity and not just an Igbo candidate.
2nd, his supporters are broad, young and highly intelligent people who are not deceived by ethnic, religious and regional ideologies, but united by a common aspiration for good governance and the rebuilding of national unity and sense of national pride.
3rd. You are probably one of the many fools in a vehicle on a highway towards a visible booby trap and expected a wise and sensible driver to keep on driving when the road is leading to nowhere except for the foreseen danger ahead.
4th. If truly you are an Igbo man, it’s your type that worships demons like Hope Uzodinma, Charles Soludo, Benjamin Kalu, Dave Umahi, Onyesom Wike and Asari Dokubo. You are one of the traitors within, who is cheaper than a village harlot.
Now that you are in Abuja, do enjoy your time in vanity treasure hunting.
