How many pages was the longest document you have successfully printed with @googlechrome? Context: considering using @eleven_ty for a book and don’t want to resort to PDF formatters as I want access to all the new ✨bling✨ (and while I’ll miss their print-specific features, I can live without it these days).

Thank you! Here I am :) We noticed (@dmitrysharabin and I) that Paged.js doesn't understand some more recent CSS syntax that every browser understands. Should we file a bug or are you already aware? Specifics: 1. MQ range syntax e.g. (width > 500px) rather than (min-width: 500px) 2. CSS Nesting for MQs, e.g. @media print {} *inside* another CSS rule. Is refactoring my CSS the only way forwards? I really don’t want to go back to preprocessing… :/

@KevinJPowell My friends and I are creating a TTRPG book using @eleven_ty and @paged_js to convert markdown to html and then to PDF. So far it's amazing! I'm loving how easy it is for the team to edit content using @obsdmd and styling everything via css is fantastic!

@RPG_GM02 we had a core meet last night, and we’re looking at ways to have multiple flows, so your external columns could be their own content flowing. It’s being experimented these days, but it comes with quite some questions and complexities like always.

@paged_js -- Here is some pages that I'm trying to emulate with the script. The biggest issues is the double column with sidebar. The spanning images are difficult I know due to lack of support.

@RPG_GM02 so what you want to do can be a bit complex (but doable). The real complexity comes from the half column. do you have the following pages so i can have a glimpse of how it could be done?

@paged_js -- Sorry to take so long answering. This is roughly what I want the page to look like. The main issue is the sidebar - along with getting grid to work on a page as well as images floating left and right (causes the page to break).

The 2023 edition of the ECMAScript (JavaScript) standards have been released and again this year we used @paged_js to produce PDFs from HTML. Paged.js 0.4.1 was more robust than 0.3.5 that we used last year. ❤️❤️ The PDFs are at ecma-international.org/wp-content/upl… ecma-international.org/wp-content/upl…

Surprise, in 2022 the same HTML can generate both highly interactive web content and nicely formatted printable PDFs Using @paged_js we now have nice PDFs for both the ECMAScript Language Spec (ecma-international.org/wp-content/upl…) and I18N spec (ecma-international.org/wp-content/upl…) back story 1/
