I am annoyed and sad that @BBCNews has ended #bbcpapers. It was an original slot and an informed debate. It was also the only time in the day I watched the channel anymore. I've almost stopped listening to @BBCRadio4, with @bbcworldservice being all that I have left now with them

For "investment" firms claiming to be UK based, you can check the Financial Services Register register.fca.org.uk/s/. If the precise company name is not listed, or is listed as a scam, don't deal with it. Use only the contact details listed in the register.

Please be careful out there. There are a lot of scammers about. Be alert for online "friends" who "suggest" investment platforms. Alarm bells: sky high returns, deposit lock-ins and advance fees. Check company registration and claims of endorsement against official registers.
