@ajcookmech @PerkinElmer Pretty sure you have to ring them up and they’ll talk you through how to do it. Ours is 0.3% lower than silos but it is always consistent.

Meter test day. Can I put in a bias for moisture? Wheat is reading .5% lower than the sample tested at the silos. @PerkinElmer #harvest25

@patrickway11 We always sow canola around 30mm but is a sandy loam. Never have any emergence issues. 2nd year with the root boot here and love it.

What depth settings are we using on Canola with a Rootboot Razor Disc? OW pre em so need some depth, every soil type from non-wetting sand to hard red ground in the same run!

@patrickway11 Only need 1.5cm depth for canola with overwatch pre em. It's safer than using it with wheat and barley. Used it for 4 seasons now. I have a rootboot razor, try around 2 teeth showing on the silver plate.

Anyone got any good brews or multiple brews/treatments to deal with Couch grass. I have a few large areas like this I’ve inherited.

Anyone got any ideas to get green lentils to flow through redekop chopper any better?? (case 6088). Bridging at the end of sieves and then working it’s way all they way to beater and blocking that.

@patrickway11 Tilt the beater tray to shoot the residue higher might help, lentil vine is hard to throw

Powdery mildew on Scepter wheat certainly taking the cream of the yield averages in some sandy country (mainly on less fertile areas of paddock). Bring on Brumby.

@edgronomy Yep, seems very soil type dependent in our instance.. Sandhills are covered but the heavier country is virtually unaffected. How do you think the Brumby will stack up against the Scepter yield wise?

@patrickway11 Scepter left and Brumby right. Managed to keep the powdery confined to small heads low in the canopy in this paddock. Other Scepter at other farm covered though.
