People often allude to motifs surrounding motherhood, giving birth, etc. that are present throughout the game, but you'll note that no one ever really elaborates. The reason is that the game just does not have anything to say.

The main problem with a 'Bloodborne' film is that the game just is not very interesting narratively. There is astoundingly little of value to work with, so any attempt at making a film (or a novel, etc.) necessitates essentially bringing your own story to the table.
