if you know how poverty works, peter having a really expensive new phone makes a lot of sense. he probably is just on a very expensive monthly phone plan thats breaking his budget but is more affordable than buying a phone outright + he didnt have to pay anything in the store.

@TheRedGoner People always assume that 'the control scheme I know is obviously simple, the others are too hard' and then you put the controller for a third-person game (Dark Souls, Breath of the Wild, etc.) into the hands of an old person and they legitimately can't do anything.

Moving in a fixed camera game is an exercise in visuospatial reasoning but it's absurd to pretend it requires more mental processing when most games with camera control consider it so hard to do it's either the main mechanic (aiming) or it's taken out of your control (Z-target)

@inkblotPrincess I was shocked at that too because the Leon sections are like, serviceable action sequences but all the Grace stuff is *extremely* better, more engaging and fresher.

When I look at the positive reception to the Leon sections in Resident Evil 9 I sort of realise that RE will forever be a creatively dead series. Any potential it presents will always be pushed down by people who just want their simple MCU entertainment.
