I swear car insurance companies bring you in on a low rate and then just raise your rates like crazy. State Farm didn’t renew us 2 years ago. Switched to progressive. The renewal is insane. Got a quote from State Farm and it’s half the price. Moral of the story is just get all the quotes every year.

@randychipman As someone who works in insurance (and on the sales side now for almost 2 years), this isn’t wrong…and I’ll never understand why. We chase new business like crazy and if we’d put have that effort into retention (and just grow slower), seems like a no brainer.
