Thinking about products in terms of cost per use, it becomes apparent how much it matters if you actually use something a lot. Buying a $100 item you use once is many times worse than a $2000 you use all the time.

I’ve owned a Peloton for nearly a decade and have averaged a ride every 2-3 days in that period of time. My shoes are finally falling apart but the bike is still in excellent shape a decade later (I did have to replace the bottle holders). To this day I think it is one of the highest ROI items I’ve purchased and it makes me sad the company isn’t doing better.

@ToddLlewellyn @Da_Farns Maybe deposits need to go to the current typical model - one month's rent, and add an "on file" credit card and a lease addendum allowing up to another month's rent charge to the card to be accompanied by an itemized list of those charges (just like for the OG cash deposit).

Tenant at my rental property decided to do some work on the house herself.
That’s not allowed in our rental contract.
In the process she puncture a hole in the pipe that goes up to the shower head.
Now we have a bunch of water damage.

Say each got 2–3 years to train specifically for the others’ discipline. Could Blummenfelt or Pogačar hang with Mantz in a marathon? Could Mantz hang with them in cycling or triathlon? Which type of endurance athlete translates best?

Am I a being a jerk, or am I aight?
I currently manage 20 software engineers, and another manager manages 20 software engineers. The other manager is having a baby in the next month and will be out for 3 months. It was anticipated I'd cover most of her people.
So...I got a new job offer. I want to take it. Am I being a jerk in doing so? I feel kind of bad, but at the same time, I am not happy at work and haven't been for a long time.
Help me out here. Give me thoughts and perspective, please. Thanks!
