Sad to read of the passing of the real star of Mortimer and Whitehouse: Gone Fishing. TED has died. Condolences to my long ago colleague, his owner Lisa. I'm not an angler but I watched the show for the locations, the humour, two men of similar age chatting. But mainly for TED.

The suspect in the Golders Green attack was born in Somalia and granted British citizenship. If found guilty, I would use the Home Secretary’s existing powers under the British Nationality Act 1981 to strip him of his citizenship and deport him from our shores.
