@norootcause @nulltrace The same people are also the ones yelling from the rooftops about Kubernetes, but not realizing that's lock-in as well. There are exceptional cases to be multi-cloud, but 99% it is a total waste of time and resources.

@rizza @nulltrace Right??? I wonder the same. Are people worried that a cloud provider is going to just hugely jack up prices one day? If a major cloud provider ever did that, there would be a huge stampede of customers to the other two.

Is there a retronym for "regular cloud"? Like, not hybrid cloud, or multi cloud, you just use one cloud provider and don't use any on-prem infrastructure.
