@Philo how do I remove the “Discovery +” watermark ad? It’s very annoying to have this, commercials, and a monthly fee.

@Souvie @sehurlburt We were always taught in Boy Scouts wilderness survival that “cotton kills”. I think because it doesn’t wick away moisture or dry quickly. It’s much cozier than other materials for casual outings but maybe not best for emergency prep if that’s your goal.

@sehurlburt I always wore something cotton as a base layer because even if you’re cold, you still work up a sweat treading through snow and it’s just generally not a good feeling soaking in sweat in synthetic fibers

@AppleSupport AppleTV decided to start an update as soon as I went to use it. No warning, no confirmation. It’s been idle for days. Why didn’t it ask, and why didn’t it do it at ANY other time?

@defcon201nj @KristenCorb7 @CityofHoboken Why don’t you come yourself to see? Nobody posting cuz nobody cares. I’ve seen nobody complain about the boards. It’s not in poor taste if you understand the risk. We understand it’s only for a few days and has some possibility to help.

So we made a post asking and you and other gentrified Hobokeners decided to jump down our throats and defend instead of inform.

And we got those grapes from dealing with horrible Hoboken people treating us poorly so you only have yourselves to blame. Isntead of defend, learn.

@rtimmons @KristenCorb7 @CityofHoboken We did our own reserach, hence why we left it out. Also, Jersey City is our home town and we hav supported and marched with them. Again, we have had too many bad experiences in Hoboken that while we wish the pople well you will find many of our members hate it there.

Not only to the protesters and COVID-19 victims but also states that they don't trust their own police force to protect them. Pisses off everyone. Again, we don't want to do business with such dumbness.

@CityofHoboken @RaviBhalla can you please not use the emergency update system for composting, street sweeping, personnel promotions, and things that are not emergencies? I'm learning to not trust that the updates are not important which is a problem.
