Last night I found myself in a penthouse at the Fairmont, having dinner with @SlackHQ's CMO Ryan, @SlackHQ's GM (former CPO) Rob, @salesforce EVP @krisCB, a few of their amazing partners, and my fellow influencer squad, getting an early look at what Slack was about to ship. 🌉 I walked in curious about the latest AI update. I walked out thinking about something much bigger. Here's the shift: for the last two years, most of us have used AI like a secret weapon in a private tab. You toggle over, ask your question, copy the answer back, and nobody on your team ever sees it. Helpful, sure. But lonely. And honestly kind of a waste, because work isn't a solo sport. What Slack showed off flips that. Your data, your tools, your agents all show up in the same thread your team is already working in. You ask a question in a channel and the answer just assembles itself from your CRM, your docs, your pipeline, no tab-hopping, no "let me go pull that." The AI stops being your private assistant and becomes a teammate everyone can see. And it's not one company betting alone. 20+ partners like Atlassian, Box, DocuSign, and Canva are already building on it, which usually tells you where things are actually heading. The line from Ryan that stuck with me: AI has been single-player so far, but the real unlock is multiplayer, humans and agents working side by side in the same room. @SlackHQ Slack, your face is pretty and I like you. Also please allow for the option for favorited channels to double appear in both the top section and respective section (aka favoriting a DM chat can also keep it in the DMs too).

My team talks directly to *my* AI workforce. They can skip me entirely. It's the first time working with AI agents actually feels team-oriented and collaborative (and not just one person becoming more productive with their own AI staff). It's also a massive stress reducer. Here's how I did it... ✔️ Step 1: create a dedicated Slack channel where your team will chat with your AI workforce (mine is loop-allie) ✔️ Step 2: invite your team and Claude ✔️ Step 3: set up cron job for your AI workforce chief of staff to check that Slack channel (mine is every 30min) ✔️ Step 4: iterate on rules (ex: I only wanted it to reply to actual requests and not comments, I wanted to approve replies to medium and high risk asks, I wanted to shortcut approvals with emoji reactions) and behavior (ex: don't reply unless you have to take action) ✔️ Step 5: create logs and memory docs, run loop on errors
