Lesego chombo, would have been a strong fit for Tourism to be honest she has the presence, influence, & platform to market Botswana on a global stage. The ministry of Youth is very challenging and demanding, but Tourism could’ve fully leveraged her reach far better.

There’s no need to increase tariffs, the org is failing. Increasing costs every time to make it seem like they’re performing is a bad approach. We need the org to do better. Stop free connections.

It doesn’t make sense to impose allllll these tariffs and tax hikes all at once…if BPC wants its 46% tariff increase thy should do it gradually over 12 months…

@kwirirayi @BWGovernment After the increase that came this past week the difference is not that much with an expected increase this month again sitting P20.48 vs P30 we ll be on the same boat soon

@rtmodisane @BWGovernment dude, our fuel is not even as low as yours at the best of times. Right now we pay about 30 pula per litre and without taxes we would be paying about 18 pula per litre. So it is grim.

@Slim_Cash_Becky @ShxcksBW Am getting 2 meters this week one is free connection the second one am paying so saying its stopped is not true. But there are challenges from region to region other places line moves fast.

@ShxcksBW They long halted that free connection program when UDC got into power, a lot of people are queuing to be rendered the services to no avail. I have cousins who applied in 2024 January to date with no signs of getting connected anytime soon, it's excuses after one another
