The government announced that they will pause the tax levy and increases old age allowances after the outrage of the public calling them out to do something.
We don’t want a government that works with damage control instead of being initiative because the only reason we voted for them, we trusted them to serve us. We needed the change.
@BWGovernment @duma_boko leadership should be proactive. From the address today and the students strike so far the government is reactive. Batswana are peaceful people and should not be pushed to the extremes for action to be taken.

Government will lose some revenue during this time period since fuel & road levies have been reduced. So when you complain about bad road or infrastructural issues be aware gore it’s has fuel has been subsidized
