More Republicans are retiring ahead of the midterms than at any point in nearly a century, according to an ABC News tally of retirement announcements and a review of historical data since 1930 compiled by the Brookings Institution. abcnews.link/0072ADA

@iowahawkblog @m_takewaka I fully agree with the conclusion but does Michelin actually visit the other states with BBQ?
English

@m_takewaka The Michelin Guide contains 58 BBQ restaurants, 31 are in Texas. Texas has 19 of the 33 with a Bib Gourmand recommendation, and all 4 BBQ restaurants in the world with a Michelin star are in Texas. The BBQ war is over, Texas won.

@stormsofevermor @jjverdi @Kasparov63 So an argument for voter ID is an example of something that should not require an ID at all?
English

@jjverdi @Kasparov63 It's so weird, I show my ID at freaking Costco... in fact I have to scan it in California just to get into the store... another fact about Costco, you cannot check out without scanning your card 😬🤔
LibTards want to cheat!

Stop pretending that you do not understand the difference between voter ID and a proof of citizenship document, Elon.
Elon Musk@elonmusk
It is the end of democracy if voter ID is not passed
English

@danielsgoldman @elonmusk Issue a free voter ID and I'd make voting mandatory. I guarantee one of the parties does not want 100% turnout.
English

This is such a dumb tweet @elonmusk.
Right wing Heritage found 10 non-citizens votes out of 2 billion since 1992.
The threat to our democracy is the SAVE Act, which denies voting rights to millions.
Issue a free national ID to every citizen and I’ll happily support voter ID.

@FrankLuntz This chart suggests we need more people moving to small towns.

How can we incentivize more Americans to have children?
Mike Lee@BasedMikeLee
🚨 U.S. 🇺🇸 counties with more DEATHS than BIRTHS: 2010: 34% 2015: 43% 2020: 60% 2025: 65% 2030: Likely many more We need to change this. America 🇺🇸 needs to live. And to live it needs LIFE, children, and babies. 🚨

@HealthcareREguy They could never compete with gas stations in Texas.

@jimiuorio Properly tax the "buy, borrow, die" strategy first.
A good pro-worker strategy may be tax-free sales between owners and unions, for example (though I'm sure there are flaws I'm unaware of here).
English

@ronrule It's also a slippery slope towards real-time citizenship verification, which requires a real-time database of citizens. Conservatives should be upset about this as this is expressly illegal for firearms.
English

Do people actually think they need to bring passports & marriage certificates to vote?
You’re already registered. If the name & address on your ID matches your current voter registration, there’s nothing else to do. The docs are only required to register.
Democrats are spreading fear and misinformation as usual.

@BookitWithTrent I might have a chance if Skenes throws the same pitch every time.
The most likely outcome is me looking like the kid in Rookie of the Year, swinging at a pitch after it was called a ball.

@SenWarren Create Trump's sovereign wealth fund; source it from mandatory investments at certain wealth levels; limit what it can invest in by law --public infrastructure, public healthcare, public education, etc.

@melissa If it's not much, you could probably walk into any bank and they'll likely let you drop a ream in their Iron Mountain bin.

@SenTedCruz We need a press release from your sugar mama wife too for this to carry any weight.

nuke bros conveniently forget batteries discharge and charge in daily cycles
"this cell phone only lasts 10 hours! that's why landlines are so much better! reliable!"
James Clark 📈📉¯\_(ツ)_/¯@mr_james_c
The battery capacity to provide Britain with 2 weeks of electricity during winter would cost more than £2tn. Which is 20x the cost of building enough nuclear power stations to provide all the UK's electricity needs.
