California families are getting crushed at the pump—paying $6.11 a gallon while the rest of America pays just $4.52—because Gavin Newsom’s Sacramento policies killed in-state refineries, jacked up taxes and regulations, and chose foreign oil over California jobs. Chevron just put the truth on signs at every pump, so Newsom’s response?
A boycott of Chevron this Memorial Day weekend.
This is failed leadership that’s making life unaffordable for every working Californian.

Chevron is done staying silent. The company has rolled out new signs at gas pumps across California directly blaming Sacramento Democrats for the state’s insane gas prices — currently averaging over $6.30 per gallon. The signs read: “Sacramento policies did this. Now you pay more.” And “California politicians are choosing foreign oil and fuels over local jobs and lower costs.” This is a major corporate pushback against Gavin Newsom and the Democrat-led policies that have closed refineries, imposed massive taxes and regulations, and driven up costs for everyday Californians. While many try to pin the blame on national politics or Trump, Chevron is making it crystal clear: the problem is made in Sacramento.
