If you have a decent cash amount, risking 1% on prop firm challenges is pointless, in my opinion.
Everyday you are on the challenge account is a day you are not making any money.

When I say risk at least 1.5% or 2% per trade, some of you start acting funny.
Truth is you can never know the outcome of your prop account.
Lowering risk doesn’t change that. Many traders reduce risk and still fail with a working strategy.
Reducing risk only stretches the time it takes to blow the account.
Instead of failing in a month and moving on, you drag it out for months and start feeling like you’re progressing just because the account is still alive.
That creates false confidence and delays real feedback.
Stop trying to protect an account.
Execute your edge, fail fast, learn, and move on.
If you risk 2% per trade, it only takes 4 to 5 trades to lose the account. Think about that.
