If we don’t get Chris Wood fit for the last 5-6 games then I fear we are not gonna score the goals necessary to avoid relegation. We are now talking about record breaking numbers of efforts on goal without scoring. This guy would score those that were barely half chances. Likely would be 60% fit at best but would still be better than Jesus, Lucca and Taiwo. He’s not gonna put his fitness on the line as he will want to go to the World Cup but at some point we are likely gonna need to take a risk with him. He could be the difference between going down or not as let’s face it, we are beyond flaccid in front of goal. #NFFC

With the squad issues Fenerbahçe have right now it does change a few things for #NFFC, with a massive game at the weekend and a three nil lead already in place there’s an option to maybe see more changes than would otherwise be expected. Wholesale changes would be Gunn, Abbott, Cunha, Morato, Sinclair, Yates, Dominguez, Bakwa, Ndoye, McAtee and Lucca with three at the back and Sinclair and a winger playing as attacking wingbacks. I think it’ll more likely be five or six changes from the game at the weekend with the idea to make more changes after an hour, we also have to be conscious of players on bookings that really aren’t worth risking ahead of the next round. Fenerbahce will still be an opponent to be wary of with them having nothing to lose, and an element of Forest PTSD in these games is always a factor, but this is a match where a professional job is all that’s called for and we shouldn’t take any risks beyond that.

As expected, Omari Hutchinson to be named in #nffc Europa League squad for the knockout play-offs and potentially onwards. Signed from Ipswich for a club record £37.5m, Hutchinson was left out of the league phase. Big positive for Sean Dyche and more attacking options

@forestmad80 bakwa cant go out on loan mate, already played for two clubs, he just needs to play in his actual position and be used how he should. not playing on the left because hes left footed ffs

Look at the players we are trying to get over the line and it’s clear to see that most are to balance the squad and provide some European pedigree for our assault on Fenerbahce and hopefully beyond. Full back - Gosens Played in Europe most of his career, was part of that exceptionally attack minded Atalanta side that fought above their weight and had 50 goals/assists in 157 games in that period which is insane for his position. GK - Ortega Low risk deal until the end of the season, reported fee only £500k which looks great business for someone that has excelled under Pep when called upon at City. Mid - Engels Not sure if this one works out but I do prefer this one to Frattesi personally. We need a bit more depth in the middle and Engels looks to have a high ceiling and is already accustomed to British football. Wildcard - I have a feeling Bakwa might go out on loan and if CHO is out for a period then we are very light on wingers. I’d personally look at Allan Saint-Maxim which would be a freebie after having his contract ripped up. We need someone here I think and might even be more pressing than a striker. Forward - I don’t think this happens in this window, I think if the right player became available then we would’ve persued it but Mateta wanted Italy, Tammy wanted Villa. I do have a sneaky feeling we might go for Duran but not sure it’s a great fit with Dyche. Interesting 24 hours but I really like the business potentially so far. Those slating Gosens won’t be familiar with his work. #NFFC

McNeilly looks like he will get minutes tomorrow, looks a good prospect and very highly thought of in the Chelsea academy. I guess if Ndoye plays through the middle, Omari ineligible and can’t imagine he will want to push CHO too much so that leaves Bakwa. #NFFC
