While I agree this failure is completely on PlayStation and they should take accountability. It’s also not so black and white. This is what happens when art and business mix. The definition of success always changes over time especially in the past 5 years. These companies aren’t shit but it’s unfortunate that individuals have to be affected by these decisions. Hopefully everyone is given an opportunity to transfer teams and continue to build.

Today @PlayStation showed the gaming world including all independent studios that you SHOULD NEVER agree to be acquired by Sony. Sony didn’t just fumble the bag today but for their future as well, as no self respecting studio would ever consider joining the PlayStation team now.

@SLOplays It would even be dope to get them miniseries style similar to how they did Daima and follow the anime season cycle. That way quality can be checked.

@sudoLama We genuinely need sonething like that. DB is old enough now to get a complete condensed and accurate adaptation of Toriyama’s original manga from OG to the end of Z with updated animation and visuals.

Crazy how manga/anime is so much more accessible these days and people still think you should skip OG DB. When I was growing up, I only had Toonami and Blockbuster where I would only get parts of Dragon Ball. I wish I could've just gone online and watched everything in order.

Lmao 🤣 I feel that. That’s why I think a full DB would be fire. Now it won’t be the most exciting announcement. But with updated visuals, closer to Manga material, it could keep DB going for another 5-10 years easy. But I don’t know if I trust the studios to keep a quality commitment that long.

Yeah like shit was so confusing to me when I first started getting into it. I started with a game which was from Android to Cell Saga. Then I watched the anime on Toonami which had pieces from Saiyan and Frieza. Then eventually I found out from the games that there was even older stuff lmao

Once WB put itself up for sale, there was no ideal outcome. I will not be surprised if DC Comics characters are just licensed out in a few years and instead of theatrical releases you can pay $50 a month to watch Batman 8, part 2 on your phone.

According to The Denver Post, social media accounts seemingly connected to shooter Desmond Holly are "littered with references to mass shootings and antisemitic views." Holly, a 16-year old boy, shot two of his schoolmates at Evergreen High School on Wednesday before killing himself. He waited until lunchtime and then opened fire with a revolver. "He would fire and reload, fire and reload, fire and reload,” said Jacki Kelley, a spokeswoman for the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office. “This went on and on, and as he did that, he tried to find new targets, and he came up against a roadblock on many of those doors. He couldn't get to those kids.” Kelley stated that Holly was "radicalized through an extremist network," which is a story we hear often about these right-wing shooters in the wake of their attacks. These individuals flock to online spaces where hateful ideas fester and spread like viruses, and then they take those ideologies out into the real world to deadly results.
