i have a particular seat in a cafe in indiranagar, the view of which is open and you can’t see who is coming into the cafe. i have had numerous 6-8 hr long continuous coding sessions there to a point that the staff just knows what i will have. i always used to think working from cafes is overrated, until i discovered that it works wonders for me.

It's sad that we promote and encourage complexity in the tech industry I'd love to see more of a push towards simple solutions to problems

I’m 6 years already in and I don’t see myself working in this industry 5 years down the line This industry is majorly done for. And I won’t make the argument like “if you’re top 1%” you’ll be fine.

Tailwind lays of 75% of their team. the reason is so ironic: > their css framework became extremely popular w AI coding agents, 75m downloads/mo > that meant nobody would visit their docs where they promoted paid offerings > resulting in 40% drop in traffic & 80% revenue loss
