While Zelensky has visited Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar & Jordan & concluded substantial 10-year defense agreements, the US has sent no senior official to these purported allies during one month of its unannounced war on Iran.
No other administration would be that negligent.

Honestly huge props to @JDiamond1 who has consistently used this incident to highlight that this type of belligerence is common from soldiers, and the IDF is only acting now because it was directed towards CNN and caught on film.

The IDF took what appears to be unprecedented action against the battalion involved in my team's assault & detention. In many ways, that's due to our position as US journalists. In too many cases involving Palestinian journalists & civilians, we've seen a lack of accountability.

The idea to send Charles to Washington remains a mistake the U.K. will not gain anything from. Nor will the monarchy. On the contrary. That visit will undermine Charles standing at home even more. Which isn’t good at all given the state Britain is in atm.

There can be no justification for the King’s visit to the US while Trump continues to wage his illegal war in the Middle East. Trump should not be rewarded for causing global devastation and maligning our armed forces. This visit should be cancelled.
