From reports its sounds indecisive like the club doesnt know if they want a LB or LW.
Or the midfield profiles like Scott is not similar to Fernandes.
Same happened in 2025 when we went from Delap to Semenyo to Mbeumo.

But the rotation and incohesive issue are 1 in the same to me.
The team need to add a lot of profiles to make rotating and cohesion better.
Thus why you see them attack the transfer window how they have.. I think.

@tetsuGOODY I should add I think they obviously want to compete to win the league I just think they are prioritizing financing the stadium which hamstrings the budget in a way that they are prioritizing insulating the team to finish top 4 consistently over trying to extend to win the league.

And think the issue is not only rotation i think it has more to due with having a super incohesive squad.
- Wingfielder and LB as LW option
- CF crowded with shoot first wingers
- No longe range passing in midfield

@tetsuGOODY Look at the games this year. Like look at the last 3 games (Sunderland vs the last 2) see what happens when they have to rotate.
Or just the fact that the team was 2-3-3 on games with 4 or less days of rest.
Wins were only over Burnley and Wolves btw.

The limit is transfer funds and minutes the team needs to fill. Using 1/2 the budget for Anderson is the issue. It’s not paying him 300k a year.
