So it appears that the US Army Chief of Staff, General Randy George, has apparently been fired. One must fear that the general has contradicted Hegseth, and that Hegseth wants someone who follows orders - even when those orders are war crimes. And yes, I am afraid I cannot help but think that Trump is not capable of ending this without looking like a complete loser, and that he will therefore simply make it more and more extreme.
