@DjehutySpeaks @Raindropsmedia1 The problem is even i When you do file, if she doesn’t get served with the papers, it’s all on what the judge is willing to do. The judge can decide not to give primary custody until she is served. meaning that the child support order will not be dropped.

If a woman has physical custody as primary caregiver, she will be given child support. Now, if the child ends up living or residing with the father making his residence the child’s primary residence and making him the primary caregiver, the father needs to file a Request for Order modifying the original order. Sounds like dude in the video didn’t file his paperwork. A lot of men get caught up in the child support system/racket because they’ll become primary caregiver just on the strength and without any court orders to make the change in care official/legally binding. So while they become the primary caregiver, they’re still legally bound to pay the mother child support (indirect alimony or palimony) pursuant to the original custody order. How’s the court supposed know about the change in primary caregiver status? With court, it’s all about orders and/or judgments.
