This is the direction I’m leaning as well in recent days.
That’s a great outcome for Brooklyn. Both Keaton Wagler and Mikel Brown Jr. offer a lot to be excited about as key cogs in Brooklyn’s rebuild.

Of the four names above, Wagler has been the least connected to the Nets, however, he has a lot of traits that the Nets usually look for. He’s their type of prospect traditionally. And the Nets pick squarely in his draft range.
Brooklyn is throwing mix signals around the league but the note yesterday that the Nets potentially flew to KC to meet with him and his family is notable.

Unless Keaton Wagler got a promise from LAC for #5, I would be surprised if his workout is not rescheduled with Brooklyn before the draft.
Prospects are flying all over the country in the weeks that lead up to the draft. Given that the draft is in Brooklyn, the Nets always get prospects in for last minute workouts.
I would assume that’s the case again this year as prospects fly into New York this weekend before Tuesday’s draft.

@BillyReinhardt I thought that the Wagler workout was going to be rescheduled per @NetsDaily. This is my biggest mystery of the process. But if Clippers love Wagler, and Nets love MBJ, maybe it's already settled?

What i really like about Keaton Wagler is how crafty he is. The way he gets to the rim, to his shot, or creates his 3 is nice especially when he creates separation. He would definitely benefit from some added strength
