I’ve been setting up my Hermes agent as a second brain for 8x.
Not a chatbot.
An operator.
It checks GitHub, Slack, Gmail, Calendar, X, 8x data, and then messages me with what actually needs attention.
Today it helped me:

I just arrived in Europe for the first time. 🇪🇺
I've lived my entire life in India. I started coding when I was 12, spent years behind a screen, and for the longest time, the world outside felt very far away. I never had a girlfriend.
This week changed that.
Being here with the @8xsocial team has been an incredible experience. The people have been genuinely kind. Everything feels cleaner and more organized. I even tried dating (Slovenians are something else 😄).
Growing up, I never imagined I'd be traveling across Europe because of something I started doing as a kid for fun.
Next stop: San Francisco.
If 12-year-old me could see this, he probably wouldn't believe it.
Hopefully, I'm making my mom proud.
One thing I'll say though: we definitely have better food in India.

Yesterday we went to the lake.
He spent the entire time on calls with engineers and talking to his phone.
"Who are you talking to?"
"My Hermes agent."
He leaves his laptop running overnight so his agents can keep working while he sleeps.
Being a CTO in 2026 is weird 😂

It's so easy to make an iOS app with AI!!! I'm finally not iOS-retarded anymore 😊😊😊

And it's made profile pages now, and because Claude Code runs on same server as the site itself it can instantly build an /api route that the iOS app then uses to get the data to put everything in native Swift elements I didn't touch anything, I just prompt, and I also can't even login to check on it because it runs headless on the Mac Mini in the cloud! Very cool

it’s designing the system around it:
plans, agents, reviews, evals, retries, ownership
