We're hiring at @KleePay. We're building payment infrastructure for AI agents and looking for AI-native builders across engineering, product, growth, operations, and internships. You don't need 10 years of experience, but you do need to move fast, learn fast, and figure things out without being told exactly what to do. We care more about proof of work than credentials. Competitive base salary + meaningful equity. DM me your GitHub, X account, portfolio, side project, or anything you've built.

over the past 76 days, our CTO has been building @KleePay at AI-era speed: 14 repos 3,910 commits 1.11M lines added 1.42M lines changed 51 commits/day on average from accounts, wallets, cards, and authorization primitives to cactus integration, GAAP migration, treasury, and redis caching, he compressed what used to look like months of engineering into one intense sprint. AI is changing the surface area of software faster than ever. we’re building accordingly.

AI agents are ready to act in the real world. Payments need a safer primitive. @KleePay lets agents initiate payments without handling a user’s personal card details, with every transaction bounded by spend limits, merchant scope, expiry, and local authorization. 🤖Join waitlist now: kleepay.ai

the last 3 months have been a little crazy for me. - left what many would consider a dream job at a top-tier VC - moved to Singapore - became an AI startup founder - quietly raised a few million dollars - built and shipped a beta product with my CTO in a matter of weeks that might have taken much larger teams months still feels like we're just getting started.

honestly, I think it was an accelerator, not the reason. leaving a comfortable path and going all-in mattered more lol, but environment compounds, being surrounded by ambitious ppl building every day definitely changed the pace of everything.
Femi@fhemiiii

@tonychenAI motivating, i have a question tho, would you say moving to singapore was the main thing for you? or all this would still have happened irrespective of the environment?

@jacobandreou historically, firms existed bcz coordinating humans was expensive, AI may be the first technology that meaningfully changes that assumption.

Every company will need two forms of capital: human capital (judgment, expertise, creativity, relationships) and token capital (the AI capability it builds and owns): - Human capital will become higher leverage and more valuable. Humans provide the ambition, context, taste, and direction that makes AI useful. - AI strategy is not about choosing the best model. Models will come and go. If changing models destroys your moat, you never owned it. - The real advantage is building a learning loop where human capital continuously compounds into token capital. - The future IP of the firm is its workflows, evals, institutional memory, and agentic systems that improve with every steer and every use. - Every token and human workflow becomes signal. Every interaction makes the organization smarter. The company itself becomes a compounding learning machine. The future of the firm is human capital amplified by token capital. Every company needs a frontier ecosystem where it can own its expertise, compound its learning, and accumulate its own token capital.

Built a LangGraph analytics orchestrating SQL, Neo4j, Cube.js, and RAG pipelines, handling 20MB+ context workloads with validation, recovery, and low-latency execution. Also DM'd you. Previously worked at a YC-backed startup, focusing on agent frameworks, MCP workflows, and LLM orchestration. @tonychenAI

look, i agree that a lot of social media is bad for young people when i have children, i want them reading literature, exploring outdoors, building things, and having the kinds of experiences that actually shape who they become but by the time i was 16, a huge amount of my education came from the internet i was reading the news, finding books, and learning about subjects nobody around me was talking about in rural pennsylvania. i was an awkward girl, and if i wanted to learn about something beyond what was being taught in school, i had to go online to find it there’s a difference between spending hours consuming garbage and spending hours reading, researching, discovering new ideas, and learning about the world we should teach young people how to use these tools well and keep them safe cutting off social media only hurts the kids who are using the internet to discover a bigger world than the one they were born into

Hot take: Building software was not the best use case for Fable 5. GPT 5.5/Opus 4.8 can already write great code, reason across large codebases, and automate most of engineering. Fable 5 was in a different price tier (~2x).

Hard agree that Human + Token Capital is how people, companies and economies will win in an AI-first world Yes, AI will write code. Yes, agents will do more work. But the bigger shift is that every person and company can now turn the way they think and operate into software. Your judgment, your taste, your customer context, your workflows, your mistakes, your learnings — all of it starts compounding. Agents are not just workers They become memory for the business. And the best companies will be the ones where people and agents keep making each other better We internally are seeing the same shift in every department, context getting centralized, more tokens leading to more meaningful outcomes

@WickJh007 @KleePay its fair but I think everyday spending like $20–50 purchases can also be delegated to agents.

@tonychenAI @KleePay definitely , humans make mistakes during payments . But i think you are building this for corporates where amount are huge , i am correct ? and there , i don't think humans make mistakes 😅 . Because i day to day life , people can bear losses but not on big grounds 😀

AI agents are moving from answering questions to taking actions, but the moment an agent needs to spend money, the stack breaks. you either give it raw payment credentials, which is unsafe, or you keep a human in the loop, which breaks automation. @KleePay exists for the third path, we are building the control layer between AI agents and real-world payments, agents should not hold card numbers, private keys, or open-ended financial authority. they should be able to request permission to spend, within clear rules: amount, merchant, time window, card, and workflow context. cards are the bridge. control is the product. agent payments are the category.
