I felt the OSA trade coming while breaking down Ogbonnia, I said he’s a starter, so it doesn’t make since to acquire him and keep OSA for $20 MIL I appreciate OSA’s game but I like this move (This was 6 hours ago)

Osa Odighizuwa and Solomon Thomas are both "win now pieces" that only get dealt for two reasons: 1. Something very significant will soon follow 2. The Cowboys are all of a sudden considering themselves "non-contenders" in the 1-3 years to come. If the latter is true, then go ahead & trade George Pickens, Brandon Aubrey, Quinnen Williams, Dak Prescott, Ceedee Lamb, Tyler Smith, Daron Bland and/or any other significant asset under contract through ~2028 Being 100% out of the Maxx Crosby sweepstakes (especially considering we don't truly know his new market) regardless of Josh Sweat doesn't make any logical sense to me. But id love to be humored by anyone who thinks they can explain it.

I guess you can say Gary goes where Osa would’ve been but don’t get that swap of value especially given the cap implications
