Absolutely. The question is what is Sheila looking for that would earn one or both men that second extension. I believe a Super Bowl appearance would earn them a second extension. Think about this. If the Detroit Lions don’t make a Super Bowl in the next two years, it’ll be seven years since Brad Holmes and Dan Campbell have been in office. How much more will Sheila need to see at that point? The reality is the ceiling may have already been reached and someone else may need to blow past it. You may not want to accept it, but that’s the truth.

The “drop” by Jayden Reed was another bad throw by Love. It’s high and slightly behind forcing Reed to leave his feet and reach back causing the incompletion. This won’t show up in any stat sheet as anything other than a drop but it’s on Love and Reed, not just Reed.
