I grieve for noth of those boys. Austin, because he's dead, and Karmelo, because his mother is s piece of tripe. They grifted all that money, didn't spend on the best defense money can buy, and then didnt even stick around to hear the sentencing of the son whose infamy lined their pockets. His "parents" are disgusting, and should be in jail, too. How do you suppose Karmelo feels, knowing the woman who gave birth to him didn't care enough to stay in the room with him as long as she could, until he was shuffled back into a cell block? I'd hate the world, too, if that was my message at home. He did the crime; now comes doing the time. The merest whiff of justice for the Metcalf family has been rendered. But the destruction of two families came directly from the low-class mother ofvthe killer, and other family members who raised him up to be a thug.

You know what I’ve been thinking about? There are far more racist people in this country than I ever realized. I have been blown away watching people celebrate the death of a White teenage boy simply because the person who killed him was Black. This teenager was not on drugs. He was not a troublemaker. He had never committed a crime. He played sports, made good grades, respected his parents, and was loved by so many people. Yet some people have found joy in his death because they care more about race than right and wrong. That is not justice. That is racism, hatred, and pure evil. A teenage boy lost his life. Anyone celebrating that should be ashamed.
