@ryanflorence Still one version behind every time though. I would suggest doing React Router v7 -> v10.

@ryanflorence Most ecosystem cultures other than JS prioritise stability and continuity more than the JS one does. (Not all, and not always... but still)

people underestimate the mental cost of outsourcing code to Copilot/Cursor it's a mortgage: quick progress now at the expense of not understanding your own codebase it may be that beyond simple line autocomplete, it's more efficient in the long run to do everything yourself

@catalinmpit get rid of your iphone, being present without a phone or having near zero screentime will slow down time a lot.

I feel like time passes scarily fast. Especially since we had our baby and see her grow so fast. How do I slow down time?

There’s a lot of great things happening in other ecosystems (Go, Ruby, Elixir, …). Even in Node in general. But it seems that Next.js/React are now the defaults for everything.

10/10 recommend marrying and having children with the love of your life. Everybody tells you how amazing it is to have a child, but you don’t understand it until you have yours. Every since our baby girl came, our life changed drastically for the better. Life has a new meaning and it gives us a newfound motivation to build a better future for her. I know, it sounds cheesy and such, but that's the truth.

@sandip_dev_07 Yes, great experience. You can use all the new modern features easily and you have no dependencies to update because it’s core. It still depends on the project.
