@universalwrites

2+2=4 For a FREE ALBERTA. We don't 'earn' our freedom from any government, but we can work to preserve it despite government. POC. Pasty pink is a colour.

@alphafox English is odd, but I think this has much to do with being 'on board' a ship. We board a passenger plane. Small occupant types of craft like helicoptors and fighter planes people are in them. ( I'm on a roll, not in a funk)🧐😉

UCP MLA Jason Stephan has written a pro-separatist op-ed for the Western Standard. It is behind a paywall, but it replicates many of the traditional arguments: Ottawa "HAS COST ALBERTANS HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS IN CAPITAL INVESTMENT AND THOUSANDS OF JOBS." westernstandard.news/opinion/stepha…

@OrussellRussell @DRodbone Perhaps you're not very smart. Male and Female are real and distinct. Roosters are excluded from the egg barn based on the fact that roosters can't produce eggs. A similar standard is used to determine which animals are invited to the milking barn. Female sport is for females.

@DRodbone I don't understand the fascination these people have with what's in other people's pants. Maybe it's because I'm not a sports fan. 🤦

Keep on pandering to the worst people in Canada, Pierre. It's been a winning strategy so far. The vast majority of Canada doesn't think the trans "issue" is an issue at all, and would rather let a tiny percentage of people live their lives in peace.

@Sean17Henley @LPC_Hack They were collected deceptively: “Therefore, we as represented by the signatory and applicant below propose a referendum on the following question: Do you agree that Alberta should remain in Canada?” IT was supposed to be a referendum question, but lucaszuk lied.

Not a single member of the UCP campaigned as a separatist in the last election. But not a single one signed a pledge this year saying they love Canada and oppose separatism. Now we know why. This is a separatist government and a separatist Premier. They don’t just pander to separatists. Many of them are separatists. It’s time for them to come clean and tell Albertans who they really are and where they really stand. ctvnews.ca/calgary/articl…

@LPC_Hack We don't need a referendum. The majority have already spoken. We're Canadians and we're staying!

From 1952: "The Federal Government demanded that some holders of barley and oats in a particular or designated area of the country (roughly the head of the lakes, the three prairie provinces and a part of British Columbia) should deliver their holdings of oats and barley to the Wheat Board at the old prices. They could re-buy at the new prices. The cash difference would not go to the farmers who produced the grain, but into the Federal Government's consolidated revenue fund. Mr. Nolan, a Chicago grain merchant , who owned 40,000 bushels of barley in storage at the head of the lakes, refused to comply with this order and a lawsuit followed." "On May 20, last, the Privy Council, decided that all three Canadian courts had been wrong in their judgments on the Nolan case, wrong in their views about the National Emergency Powers act and order-in-council P.C. 1292. Judgment was given in favor of the Federal Government." The Nolan case is one of countless cases over the years which demonstrates how unequal the treatment from the Canadian government has been between the East and West, and how the government can manipulate the justice system to come up with the result it wants. Even when the Manitoba Court of Queen's Bench, the Manitoba Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada all ruled in favour of Nolan, the Feds superseded that ruling by appealing to the Privy Council who finally (of course) ruled in their favour.

@JasHen82 @TPostMillennial That distribution affects provincial and federal seats, but municipal elections in Onterrible don't reflect the choices of prairie people any more than Mamdami's election reflects the choice of the people of Iowa. Both Can & the US have density problems (in more ways than 1 )😉
