EML known issue! If your front-end gallery is broken with EML 2.8 activated, please try to ENABLE an option "Enhanced media shortcodes" at Settings > Media Library admin menu. The update is coming! Sorry!

@mirthalia The current version does not allow that, free nor PRO. But we are working on better categories management.

@mirthalia Hi, no, quick-editing in media library is not a feature of the current version. Adding categories or using any other taxonomy for the media library is the FREE feature, see Settings > Media > Media Taxonomies (tab), you need to assign a non-media taxonomy to the media library.
