In response to questions regarding misinformation and dangerous content being published online after the Sydney Church and Bondi Westfield Stabbings, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese emphasises that he had QUADRUPLED the budget for the e-Safety Commissioner from $10.3 million to $42.5 million each year — and has since been in contact with his Communications Minister Michelle Rowland to aid in combatting this form of content being published online in Australia. 🚨 REMINDER: The “Combatting Misinformation & Disinformation Bill” will very likely be passed in Australia later this year.
